No, I normally don't ask. I just hang around, be patient and take the picture,... mostly from a distance and inconspicuous. If they notice me and they make it clear that they don't want to be in my camera, I immediately stop. But I must say, up to here, it always went smootly. People here are very relaxed. Often we start a conversation,... and thát is the most interesting part! To me it's a matter of showing respect. Under those circuimstances I feel comfortable taking the picture.

I tried B&W but I was struggling with the white hat,... Too much sun,...
During the B&W treatment, the white hat got burned,... Technical advice is always welcome!
